Overview
This policy explains how the Network of Armenian Young Innovators (“NAYI,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you visit this website, contact us, subscribe for updates, or use a linked form.
This website does not include advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, or marketing cookies. We do not sell personal information.
Information we receive
The website itself is primarily informational. We may receive information when you:
- Send the website contact form, including your name, email address, selected topic, message, and consent.
- Request newsletter updates, including your email address.
- Email us, including your email address and whatever details you choose to provide.
- Apply through the linked Google team member form or open a linked mentorship document.
- Contact us through Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or another third-party platform.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process standard technical request data and security logs needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps.
Contact-form and newsletter submissions made on this website are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database so NAYI can review and respond to them.
Third-party services
The site links to or loads resources from services operated by other organizations, including Google Forms, Google Docs, Google Fonts, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, PayPal, and Mailchimp. Their privacy policies govern information handled on their services. A link or loaded font does not give NAYI control over those services.
NAYI may connect its newsletter form to Mailchimp in the future. If that connection is enabled, Mailchimp would process newsletter email addresses to deliver NAYI updates. This policy does not mean that Mailchimp is currently connected.
How we use information
We use information to review team membership requests, respond to messages, organize events, coordinate team members and branches, evaluate partnerships, send requested updates, protect the website, and operate the NAYI community.
We may share information with NAYI team members or service providers when reasonably necessary for those purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Retention and security
We retain information in Cloudflare D1 and other necessary records only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, our operations, or legal obligations. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to a volunteer nonprofit.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you previously provided, subject to legal and operational limits. You may also choose not to use website or linked forms and contact us by email instead. Newsletter emails will include a way to unsubscribe when newsletter delivery is active.
Children
NAYI serves young people, but this website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through the website.
Changes
We may update this policy as NAYI grows. The date at the top will show the latest revision.
